"Self Portrait"

Each of my works is a journey impacted by the serendipity of life. You are invited to follow me on one of these journies by entering my virtual gallery or reading my studio journal. I do not paint wildlife, as such. I paint archetypes of human life and situations. As human beings have done for millenia, we have used animal images or animal archetypes to represent sought after attributes of animals, desires, and to help guide us through the meaning of life.

A good example of this is the old lion painting showing how the brave and once powerful lion is now aging and having to deal with weakness vis a vis spectacles.
